Bidders and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Louisville Gas & Electric and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Bidder is required to furnish a Bid Bond in an

amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal established for this contract is zero percent (0%) of the total value of the contract.
