Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond naming the County of Val Verde as obligee and duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price (including base bid(s), option(s) and alternate(s)).
