The Army Corps of Engineers - Louisville District - is conducting this Market Survey to determine if there are a reasonable number of small business concerns to set this prospective project aside. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and you are interested in this project, please respond appropriately. Project Title: Army Reserve Center - Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) Project Location: Seagoville, Texas Project Description: This project is a Maintenance and Repair project of the Seagoville Army Reserve Center (Building 1001) located in Seagoville, TX. The design/build repair project comprises a total of approximately 30,000 square feet. Required improvements consist of repair, replacement or installation of interior walls, doors, flooring, windows, window frames and ceilings, replacement/addition of plumbing fixtures, piping, and equipment; installation and/or replacement of
mechanical equipment; replacement/installation of fire suppression sprinkler system, replacement/installation of the fire alarm system/mass notification system; installation of lighting and upgrade interior electrical service; replacement/installation of information systems; repair of exterior wall finish, repair of downspout/gutters, replace roofing, modify/replace exterior doors and door openings, and replace exterior signage; removal of lead, lead based paint and asbestos as necessary. This project is a full facility repair and will be designed and constructed to current Department of Army sustainable design standards. Contract duration is estimated at 750 days. The estimated cost range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 dollars. NAICS code is 236220. All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractors should respond to this survey via email by Thursday, March 14, 2024 - 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Responses should include: Identification and verification of the company’s small business status. Contractor’s Unique Identifier Number and CAGE code(s). Documentation from the firm’s bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits. Descriptions of Experience - Interested construction firms must provide no more than three (3) example projects, each similar to this project in size and scope, that the interested firm served as the prime contractor, have been completed or, if still in progress, be 90 percent construction complete, have occurred within the past five (5) years, and demonstrated self-performance of, at minimum, 15 percent of the work. Additionally, each project must include the name, title, project role, email, and telephone number of at least one reference. References may be used to verify size, scope, dollar value, percentages and quality of performance. Provide documentation demonstrating similar type buildings, managing a design team and managing multiple sub-contractors. Projects Similar in Scope Include: Major repair or renovation of buildings similar to Army Reserve Centers, National Guard armories, Armed Forces Training Centers, and/or multi-story office complexes. Project can also include experience in new construction; however, project scope shall be at least 75% complete building renovation, measured in square footage. If replying with projects that are combined new and renovation construction, clearly delineate (based on square feet) the renovation versus new construction portion and percent (%) of the project. Construction of pre-engineered buildings does not count toward a project of similar scope or size. Projects Similar in Size Include: Projects considered similar in size shall include a minimum of 20,000 Square Feet of renovated building.
