The Woodsdale Road Improvement Project aims to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities on Woodsdale Road, Lake Country through construction of
multi-use paths and bike lanes between Highway 97 and Lodge Road. The Work also includes, but is not limited to, the following infrastructure improvements:Reclamation and reconstruction of Woodsdale Road between Bottom Wood Lake Road and Lodge Road;Two large diameter (1800x1200 box culvert, 1473x914 pipe arch) culvert replacements; andInstallation of approximately 100m of storm main.Location: The Place of the Work is Woodsdale Road, Lake Country, BC, as shown on the Drawings.Contract Time: The following are key milestone date requirements/restrictions for the Work:The Work may commence anytime after: February 20, 2022.The Work includes some ‘In-stream’ work (subject to MLFNRO Section 11 permit) which must be performed within the period: August 7 to September 5, 2023.Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: October 31, 2023Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 30 days following Substantial Performance.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.Further details on the requirements and how to submit a proposal are contained in the attached RFP Documents. Respondents should note that names of ‘Registered Plan-takers’ for this RFP will appear publicly in the Bids&Tenders System.
