Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, intends to procure, on a sole source or brand name or equal basis, several components in support of the upcoming construction project for the Access Control Point Main Gate at Fort Eustis, Virginia. This supported construction project consists of components that USACE intends to require for specific systems product line. The manufacturer’s product has unique capabilities that meet the user’s stringent requirements for top-quality and secure requirements and maintains compatibility with existing systems. Unless indicated to be as a brand name or equal requirement, the companies listed in the table below are the only manufacturer in the industry that manufactures components to meet required specifications and warranty requirements and/or maintain compatibility with existing systems.
