Bikeway Branding Plan

Montgomery County’s Bicycle Master Plan introduced two new types of bikeways – Neighborhood Greenways and Breezeways – that incorporate branding as a unifying element. Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, hereinafter referred to as “Commission”, is seeking a consultant skilled in community branding and signage plan development. The consultant will develop a countywide branding plan for the Neighborhood Greenways and Breezeways bikeway types, including signs and banners, while also providing the ability to incorporate distinctive elements expressing the unique character of each bikeway and/or neighborhood. In addition, the consultant will prepare guidelines on the placement of signs and prepare fabrication-ready design file templates so that Montgomery County can produce the resulting signs and banners.
