The funding was provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through a grant based on the funding opportunity announcement, Integrated HIV Surveillance and Prevention Funding for Health Departments. The grant integrates HIV prevention and surveillance activities and goals to utilize surveillance data to inform prevention activities. The OA has approved activities outlined within Riverside County’s 2020 Work Plan. The Work Plan focuses on one core required HIV prevention activity and four recommended activities for contracted CBOs.
