Other Details FEDERAL FUNDING REQUIREMENTS Funds from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and/or the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, together known as the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (“CSLFRF”) program, will be used to fund all or a portion of this Project. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all requirements associated with federal funding in carrying out the Project. The Federal Contract Provisions provide additional information on federal funding requirements. Bidders shall be subject to 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 and will take affirmative steps to assure that minority firms, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religious creed, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Affirmative steps shall include: • Placing qualified small and minority businesses and women’s business enterprises on solicitation lists; • Assuring that small and minority businesses, and women’s business enterprises are solicited whenever they are potential sources. • Dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by small and minority business, and women’s business enterprises; • Establishing delivery schedules, where the requirement permits, which encourage participation by small and minority business, and women’s business enterprises; and • Using the services/assistance of the Small Business Administration (SBA), and the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) of the Department of Commerce.
