On behalf of McKinstry Essention (McKinstry), this IFB is being issued by the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD/Owner) seeking competitive bids for a solar PV installation contractor. We are seeking install/construction services. PLEASE NOTE: Only vendors who are on the current Approved Vendor List for Solar PV Installations are allowed to bid on this project. Those vendors are: Creative Energies, LLC Gardner Energy BIDS FROM ANY OTHER VENDOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Questions regarding this solicitation must be asked in writing in Periscope Source. Answers to all questions will be provided in Periscope Source. Only answers issued through the Periscope Source system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the SLCSD. Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the SLCSD. Only authorized and properly issued addenda shall constitute the official binding position of the SLCSD. Anyone submitting a

response to this solicitation based on communication or information received from sources other than through official addendum, assumes full risk including the possibility of a determination of non-responsiveness and may be rejected at the sole discretion of the SLCSD. The below information is to be incorporated into the scope and cost of the project. All vendors are responsible for reviewing all document and submitting bids accordingly. GENERAL NOTES/CLARIFICATIONS: 1. The following updates are included in Addendum #1 and have been uploaded to Periscope Source. a. Exhibit 1b – Racking Drawings is now available. Any discrepancies in array layout between the electrical and racking drawings will be dictated by the racking drawings. As a reminder, the Construction Scope Responsibility Matrix shows what racking material SUBCONTRACTOR is responsible for providing and what will be furnished by McKinstry. b. For East HS, please breakout the price of installing mechanical attachments in Attachment F. We acknowledge there are a large number on this site and are working with the vendor to decrease them. c. Exhibit 1d – Slip Sheet Specs has been added to the IFB detailing allowable slip sheet sizes. SUBCONTRACTOR price must reflect this requirement. d. Exhibit 1e –Roof Warranties and Policies has been added to the IFB detailing the roof manufacturer’s policies for PV installation. SUBCONTRACTOR price must reflect compliance with these policies. e. Responses to questions and comments from the walk-through can be found in Exhibit 2. All answers are considered part of the IFB and must be reflected in Vendor submission and pricing.
