The Billings Area Indian Health Service and Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana, intend to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Nemont Telephone Co-operative, Inc., PO Box 600, 61 Highway 13 South, Scobey, Montana 59263-0600, for telephone services at the two Fort Peck Service Unit locations.  The Contractor, Nemont Telephone Co-operative, Inc., is the only telephone service provider for the Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana areas.  The purchase order will consist of a twelve month period.This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes.  There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes.  Phone calls will not be accepted.  Any response to the notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.  If no affirmative written response is received by 5:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on August 14, 2020, the contract will be issued without further notice.  A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.Responses may be faxed to (406) 768-5595 (attention Jewel Hanna) or emailed to the following address: jewel.hanna@ihs.gov by the deadline stated
