20-45, Cement Stabilized Base Reclamation Construction

Invitation to Bid Sealed Bid #20-45 Cement Stabilized Base Reclamation Construction, Milling, Patching, and Resurfacing on Various County Roads The Henry County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for cement stabilized reclaimed base, patching, asphalt milling and hot-mix asphalt placement on 11 County roads (approximately 6.3 miles). This includes but is not limited to traffic control (including temporary striping), cement stabilized base reclamation (8” thick with the addition of Portland Cement), milling (variable depth), resurfacing, the placement and sanding of asphalt prime, building shoulders (including grassing) and striping using Thermoplastic. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid. All bidders must be listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation Pre-qualified Contractors list. Bids will be received by Henry County Board of Commissioners, Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway, Room 209, McDonough, GA 30253 until 3:00 PM local time on June 24, 2020. Late bids will not be considered nor returned. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
