The objective of the project is to demolish the greenhouse and attached ancillary building. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, CA. The Engineer's estimate is $4,500,000. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 30% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 30% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Jason Chow at (415) 554-3103 for further information. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: demo of building interiors, fencing, landscaping, site clean-up and dust control, trucking. Hard Copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available for a non-refundable $160 fee bundled with a CD version of documents that include additional reference documents. Please be advised that the CD cannot be purchased by itself. For immediate pick up, please visit the Customer Service Desk on the first floor of 525 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102. You will need to bring $160 in cash or a check payable to “SFPUC”. To request to receive plans, specifications and bidding documents by mail, a Contractor should mail the request to: SFPUC; Contract Administration Bureau, 8th Floor; 525 Golden Gate Avenue; San Francisco, CA 94102. The request should include the contractor License number, a $160 check payable to “SFPUC”, and a FedEx account number with return shipping information. Addendum #1 issued November 16, 2017.
