Description: Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion Assessment RFPSan Miguel County (“County”) is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from qualified firms and individuals to provide an organization-wide assessment of Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles. The County is seeking a qualified consultant to assess the workplace from the perspective of both internal and external customers, to provide a report of findings, and to prepare an action plan or strategy, as well as draft policies that provide recommendations for developing greater equity and improving inclusion in the workplace.The County is committed to increasing employee and program understanding and implementation of the values of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Currently we have defined these terms with the following understanding: Justice is a goal to address historical inequity, trauma, violence or other unjust treatment of groups and individuals. Equity is an outcome of our work to develop a community and workplace where a person’s social identity does not predict their ability to succeed, access services or participate. Diversity is a fact that our community is composed of people who hold a variety of social identities and lived experiences.
