Accessibility Legislation Public Engagement Project Project Description :Alberta is one of the few jurisdictions without specific accessibility legislation that would identify, remove, and prevent barriers to equal participation for those with disabilities. The Office of the Advocate for Persons with Disabilities (OAPD) has developed a Strategic Engagement Plan to consult with key stakeholders around the current state of accessibility legislation and accessibility in the province, and to consult on potential impacts of Accessibility Legislation were it to be brought into effect.
