The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The scope includes detailed technology transfer, represented in the development and presentation of one (1) component, including both cold start airworthy component and the application and transfer of the required material data. The requirements for the delivery, installation, and certification of one (1) Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) additive manufacturing systems that are compatible with the technology transfer, material data, and component design that are compatible with the technology transfer, material data, and component design. The unit prices will be established at the time of a contract award.Contractor shall provide data rights via direct ownership and/or licensing. Contractor may be required to provide documentation, including but not limited to, drawings and/or licensing that clearly indicates data rights.For this requirement it is necessary to ensure the Contractor shall provide and install one (1) laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) Additive Manufacturing systems (M2 – Series 5 Dual Laser 400W) and associated equipment for Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The systems shall be M2 Series 5 Dual Laser machines with Aluminum alloy AlSI7Mg capabilities.Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available.
