The USAF is looking to establish a 10-year contract for the sustainment of Aircraft Engine Test Stands. The Engine Test Stand (ETS) system has two different top-level configurations: the T-20 and the T-21 series. The T-20 test stand supports testing, at the Field and Intermediate Maintenance Level, of turbojet and turbofan aircraft engines that exist in the Air Force inventory to evaluate problems so that repairs can be accomplished and perform production runs after repairs are complete. The T-21 test stands accomplish the same objective for T56 turboprop engines.Part Number     National Stock Number     NomenclatureA/M37T-20         4920-01-041-5863               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEA/M37T-20A       4920-01-515-4970               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEA/M37T-20B       4920-01-325-8120               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEA/M37T-20C      4920-01-470-6508               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEA/M37T-21         4920-01-041-5862               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEA/M37T-21D      4920-01-458-2053               TEST STAND, AIRCRAFT ENGINEServices to support the ETS will consist of onsite repairs, including the manufacture of major components and subsystems; travel to sites; tear down and evaluation; telephone-based user support; and updating technical orders and manuals. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Atec, Inc.
