Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for vendors capable of providing ProVation Software Service Maintenance at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan campus located at 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. Manhattan campus requires 24x7 full system support services for the following software system: MTGI PROVATION MD FOR GI MAINTENANCE MTGI PROVATION MD FOR GI MAINTENANCE - LARGE HOSPITAL MTPULM PROVATION MD FOR PULM MAINTENANCE SOFTWARE The Contractor will be responsible to provide the following for the Licensed Software: Correct reported failures of the Licensed Software to substantially perform in conformance with the Documentation. Furnish updated. Provide telephone support and/or remote access support. Preventive Maintenance (PM)
services shall include, but need not be limited to, the following: 1. Cleaning of equipment. 2. Reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure that system is operating to the manufacturer s specifications. 3. Calibrating and lubricating the equipment. 4. Performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. 5. Test and replacing faulty and worn parts and/or parts which are likely to become faulty, fail or become worn. 6. Adjusting and calibrating as necessary. 7. Inspecting electrical wiring and cables for wear and fraying. 8. Inspecting all mechanical components including, but not limited to patient restraints and support devices, chains, belts, bearing and tracks, interlocks, clutches, motors, mechanical integrity, safety, and performance. 9. Performing Electrical Safety Inspections, which should include line cord ground wire resistance and leakage as specified in the Conformance Standards. 10. Return the equipment to the original operating condition. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 511210 (Software Publishers) and the standard size is $41.5 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J070 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Automatic Data Processing Equipment (Including Firmware), Software, Supplies and Support Equipment). All responses to this notice MUST be submitting in writing and emailed to charnell.cunningham@va.gov and must be received not later than April 2, 2020 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 511210 Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
