Inspection, monitoring, assessment and reporting of above and below water Cathodic Protection system and corrosion on facilities, wharves, piers, steel sheet pile (SSP) bulkheads, piles, fender system, gas and water lines, boats and floating docks. The Consultant shall coordinate and utilize the Port of Long Beach (POLB) Dive Team for underwater inspection. In the event when the POLB’s Dive Team is not available, the Consultant shall use its own team or equipment to perform the underwater inspection instead. 2. Maintenance and repairs of port-wide Cathodic Protection systems. 3. Trouble-shooting and repairs of various electrical issues on power, rectifiers, transformers, and Cathodic protection devices and cable as required. 4. CADD documentation of port-wide Cathodic Protection system for record keeping. 5. Research of records/plans/technology for preparation of inspection and investigation. 6. Assist in POLB special projects development with inspection, investigation, survey, testing, evaluation, recommendation, and preparation of specifications, drawings, and guidelines of Cathodic Protection systems including Coating. 7.
