Enhancing and restoring site features such as remnant Blackland prairies and miles of volunteer-built mountain biking trails are central to the success of the park. The primary improvements consist of paving, a welcome pavilion, a children's pavilion, a prairie overlook pavilion, shade structure, bike park, lighting, playground, water play feature, signage, landscape plantings, and irrigation system.
