Shuttle Bus Service in Acheson Industrial Area Parkland County requires a transportation contractor to deliver a shuttle service in the Acheson Industrial Area. The shuttle service will transport customers of the Acheson Transit Service between the bus stops and the businesses in Acheson. The transit service operates Monday to Friday in peak periods only (excluding holidays). The exception days are listed in the RFQ.
In

the morning period, the shuttle will meet each transit bus and deliver the customers to the Acheson location the customer specifies within the service area. In the afternoon period, the shuttle will pick up the customers at the Acheson location, within the service area, specified by the customer and deliver them to the bus stop prior to the transit bus departing Acheson for Edmonton. The scheduled bus arrival and departure times are listed in the RFQ.
There are two bus stops that will be served in Acheson. The bus stop locations and service area are identified on the Map in the RFQ. Only properties in the service area will be served by the shuttle. At no time will the Contractor deliver or pick up customers at any location outside the service area.
The Contractor shall provide the shuttle service at no additional cost to the customer.
