Project Description:The City of Fayetteville is seeking proposals for the development of a building located in the recently designed and funded Cultural Arts Corridor (recently renamed the Ramble) civic space in downtown Fayetteville. This building site is desired to anchor the southern end of the developing West Ave. civic space. The design for the West Ave. civic space consists of a gathering and event lawn, public plaza, garden spaces and a civic promenade. The civic space is scheduled for construction in the fall of 2022 with completion in late 2023. The City is looking for innovative development proposals for this southern anchor building that are both beautiful and of exceptional architectural quality, materiality and urban design befitting this extraordinary location. This structure and its uses should support and enhance the experience of the civic space and set the example for exemplary future downtown development.
