The Embassy of the United States in Fiji will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.The U.S. Embassy in Suva, Fiji (Embassy) has a requirement for repair and re-coating of their three (3) concrete water storage tanks, i.e., two (2) raw water/fire tanks and one (1) finished water/potable tank. The Embassy is seeking Proposals from qualified firms with demonstrated expertise and success in in this area. Services to be provided include furnishing all labor, supervision, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to successfully perform specialized repair and interior re-coating services, in accordance with the specifications that will be set forth in the Solicitation.All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.The Government intends to award a contract resulting from
this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.All questions shall be in writing and sent to email address GSO_Suva@state.govAll questions and answers shall be posted on FedBizOpps. The Contracting Officer is the only one authorized to change the solicitation and all changes shall be done in writing.All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at:https://www.fsd.gov/fsd-gov/learning-center-system.do?sysparm_system=SAM
