renewal for the AQMESH air sensor monitoring equipment. This renewal is for continuation of air quality monitoring using sensors, at a neighborhood level, in St.Paul for an additional year using the AQMESH monitors. The AQMESH sensor pods are air quality monitoring devices that are manufactured by AQMESH. The sensors send data vis a SIM card in the equipment, to the AQMESH servers which then is transferred to MPCA via an API that the vendor provides to MPCA. Since the data goes to the vendor’s server, MPCA needs to get a data extension plan also from vendor, otherwise the data will not be accessible. The SIM cards are also built into the equipment, hence the cellular connection also needs to be renewed. Any data related transmission issues will be taken care of by AQMESH. If there are any data lags or missing periods of data, the vendor will check for connectivity issues and work with MPCA to resolve deficiencies. These services cannot be provided through a third-party reseller, therefore, MPCA has determined that this is a single source procurement.
