YVRA RENTAL CAR CONCESSION

Routt County is the owner of the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (YVRA) located in Hayden, Colorado. YVRA provides service to Northwest Colorado including Steamboat Springs, Hayden, and Craig. For 2022, 196,723 passengers deplaned at YVRA and car rental companies grossed approximately $9,680,368.The rental car facilities located at YVRA include: in-terminal customer service counters and office space, a ready/return paved parking lot, and a service facility and storage area (carwash, refuel facility, and rental car storage lots).The Airport currently hosts three on-site airport rental car Concessionaires, Hertz, Budget and Avis. Any brand choosing to operate an off-airport location in lieu of an on-airport location will be charged a premium in order to offset negative airport related financial impacts to the on-airport concessionaires. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to furnish general information to prospective Proposers concerning the proposing and awarding of three (3) nonexclusive rental car concession privileges in the terminal building at YVRA. The Objective is to have a fully executed agreement by October 31, 2023 with an effective date of December 1, 2023. Proposers are referred to the attached sample form of agreement, which County intends to enter into with the successful Proposer. The final agreement will be similar in form to the attached sample, but the County reserves the right to make changes to the form of agreement, prior to final award, at the sole discretion of the
