Project Name: Fuel Purchase - Annual
Scope of Work: It is the intent of the Lee County Board of County Commissioners (County) to contract with a qualified Vendor to provide unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel on an as needed basis as well as during emergency situations/events.
Emergency events include, but are not limited to natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, windstorms, floods, and fires as well as man-made events such as civil unrest and terrorist attacks.
It is further specified that this bid is to obtain fuels at competitive market rates through a conditional contract for the required materials with suppliers that have access to volumes of substantial petroleum products from nearby ports via contractual allocations or direct ownership and have a proven stable business operations; including provisions for delivery capabilities and business continuity that will ensure prompt and convenient service.
