The Office also represents juveniles alleged to be delinquent and serves as guardian ad litem to children in the dependency system. The Office at any given time actively represents over five thousand clients. To effectively represent these clients, the PDO uses practice management software. The current setup is a custom-configured version of Microsoft Dynamics. Using this software, the office can cross-check for ethical conflicts, keep track of contact information, make notes about cases, etc. As the office has grown, the caseloads have increased, and technology has become more advanced, the current system no longer

meets the needs of the office. The PDO is soliciting proposals from vendors capable of addressing the current and future technology needs of the PDO as laid out further below. A cloud-based solution is requested. The PDO is willing to consider standard software licensing, software-as-a-service (SaaS) options, and custom-engineered software solutions.
