james.grayson@dla.mil.This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include one NSN to support the UH-60 weapon systems. The NSN targeted to be added for this contract effort is NSN: 1560-01-582-6093; Part Number; 70001-06100-500; NOUN: PYLON, AIRCRAFT with the following specifications FSC: 1560; NAICS Code: 336413; Number of Employees: 1250; AMRC Code: 3Q. The required Production Lead Time will be 720 days. Requirements: IUID Markings are required. There is no requirement for First Article Test (FAT), SNRR, TAMMS-A, Critical Safety Item (CSI), Production Lot Test (PLT) or Serial Numbering. The proposed sole source action will be issued to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 78286 and is intended to be on
a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Items provided by the following Sikorsky CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 78286.The proposed requirement will be for a total of six (6) years period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The NSN is listed above is the item that has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.These items are being added to contract SPE4AX-15-D-9415, a firm fixed price with price redetermination Indefinite Quantity Contract, awarded to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation CAGE Code: 78286 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
