DESTINATION AND INSTALLEDTerms:N/30Invoicing:Invoices shall reflect contract pricing.Warranty:Varies by manufacturer, contact vendor.Other:Pricing not available to: State of Wisconsin Agencies and Wisconsin Municipalities.Item Description:Click here for pricing.SPECIFICATIONS 1.Contractor must be able to remove patrol equipment and reinstall all patrol equipment from/into Chevy Suburban’s, Ford Police Interceptor SUV’s, Ford F150 Police Responder’s, Ford Fusion’s, Dodge Caravan’s, and Harley Motorcycles.2.Contractor must be able to acquire, install and repair/troubleshoot the following police squad car aftermarket equipment items: Progard prisoner seats, Setina rifle and shotgun mounts, push bumpers, polycarbonate window barriers and prisoner cages, Motorola radios, Watchguard camera system, Havis and Gamber-Johnson computer mounting systems and mobile computer docking station and LIND power supply, Jottodesk consoles, Sound Off Signal siren/emergency light control boxes, Carson siren/emergency light control boxes, American Aluminum K9 Kennels and control systems, Radiotronics K9 heat alarm systems, Kustom Signal radar units, Lund co-overhead weapon containment system, HELLA LED lights or other lights that work with the Blueprint System, and Sierra wireless modems.3.Contractor must be able to warranty all installation and repair work for one year from the date of service and provide all such services free of charge within 3 days. Contractor’s technicians must be available for phone consulting/troubleshooting within 30 minutes during business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday.4.Contractor must be able to install and repair law enforcement equipment according to IACP and NHTSA standards, including fabricating parts as needed to properly mount and/or to secure all equipment items to the squad. Contractor must be able to install and repair all law enforcement equipment within the given vehicle without voiding any vehicle or equipment warranties. Contractor must also be capable of working with or adding in wiring for an additional battery for (non-factory) patrol equipment into the vehicle using a secondary and completely separate wiring technique to isolate the factory vehicle battery from the secondary battery supplying power to the aftermarket police equipment.5.Contractor must have the capacity (shop bays/square footage/size, number of employees, equipment) to completely upgrade (up to) six (6) new UWPD squad cars within a three-month time frame.6.The contractor must guarantee the process for installation is identical from technician to technician and all equipment installation/location within the vehicles are identical from vehicle to vehicle unless specifically requested otherwise by UWPD to ensure that each vehicle has the same installation procedure. Each vehicle installation must be documented.7.Contractor’s facility must reside within a 100 mile radius of 1429 Monroe Street, Madison, WI 53711Revision History:
