backup capabilities as detailed in this RFQ. The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the District Attorney’s Office (DAO) is soliciting quotations for an upgrade to its data recovery and backup capabilities to be maintained by the DAO’s Technology Services Bureau (TSB) as detailed in this RFQ. This RFQ is for a data recovery & backup system upgrade at (1) site (Riverside, CA or Indio, CA) and up to (5) years of extended Support/Maintenance, including hardware, software, installation, set-up and training of staff per the specifications below. Receipt, delivery, installation, set-up, and training to be included in the bid pricing. The DAO has a need to upgrade its current data center infrastructure. An Infrastructure upgrade in the DAO's Riverside and Indio locations is essential. The goal would be to create a cold or warm recovery site in Indio to recover mission critical systems and data from Riverside. The new system will address the following areas:  Recovery Time Objective (RTO) - The DA's Office is required to charge and prosecute cases in a timely manner. In the event of business interruption, the DA's critical systems (CMS, CaseCentral, Active Directory, etc.) must be functional within 24 hours to meet our statutory obligations. Due to the exponential in data retained by the DA's Office, this process could take weeks.  Raise security against attacks - Ransomware attacks will target an organization's backup solution. The DA's Office needs a backup solution that includes an immutable solution.  Business Continuity Support - In the event of an business disruption, the DA's Office needs a backup solution that is robust enough to support a business continuity and/or disaster recovery process.
