Any deviation from the following specifications must be explained and justified. Bidder shall meet or exceed the following specifications: • Light source Violet semiconductor laser, 404-nm wavelength laser safety standard class 2 White LED • Measurement optical system Laser confocal optical system Focus variation optical system Interferometric Microscopy Spectral Film Thickness • Lighting Functions Brightfield Darkfield Differential Interference Contrast Color laser overlay Auto HDR (High-Definition Resolution) U.S. patents - (6,337,474), patent (0297597) • Detector 16-bit Photomultiplier (laser confocal optical system) 5.6-million-pixel C-MOS camera (focus variation optical system) • Electronic revolver Six objective lenses mountable Three positions with ring illumination function Ring illumination provided for 2.5x, 5x, and 10 x objective lens • Z length measuring unit Vertical revolver movement with a stroke of 7 mm 2 Resolution of built-in linear scale: 0.1 nm Z Resolution of Interferometric Microscopy: 0.1 nm Base • Stage Motorized XY stage (XY stroke: 100 mm x 100 mm) • Z-axis movement Stroke: About 70 mm Maximum sample height: 70 mm (170 mm if the spacer is used) • Withstand load 3.0 kg Features of automatic measurement and user support functions Inclusion of Auto Scan function Reliable measurement results can be obtained, regardless of the degree of user's operation skill. Basic operations are fully automated, such as finding the focal point and establishing measurement range upper and lower limits. Inclusion of automatic upper/lower limit setup User support function automatically sets upper and lower limits. Manually setting these limits while viewing an unfamiliar laser image was difficult. Double Scan function for accurate measurement of a target that has different reflectance When the measurement range includes at least a certain area containing points that are difficult to measure due to weak reflectance, a Double Scan function should automatically perform measurements twice using different light reception sensitivity settings adjust and compose the results of these measurements. This widens the range of data that can be acquired. It is useful for targets that have large brightness differences or include both flat and steeply sloping surfaces. Inclusion of Peak Detection algorithm Peak Detection function that quickly and accurately detects the focused focal point position, independent of the lens travel range. Image stitching module for simple wide-range analysis Makes it possible to obtain data over a wide range that is beyond the field of view on one screen. Features of analysis functions Versatile analysis functions Various types of analysis are possible, including cross-sectional target shape, shape comparison, single and multi-line roughness, surface roughness, volume, surface area, and film thickness. 3 Film thickness measurement function This function makes it possible to analyze multiple layers included in the entire observation field of view. It is possible to display 3D images and sectional profiles of one or more selected layers and to measure the shape or film thickness at an arbitrary point. Function for observing the topmost surface of a transparent object Ability to acquire information on the topmost surface of a transparent object. This function makes it possible to measure even samples whose measurement was difficult because the light passed through the surface. Profile comparison measurement allowing evaluation of different sample shapes Overlays the sectional profiles of two targets on each other and displays the result. It is possible to measure the differences between the two targets in width, height, and sectional area. This is of help for target comparison and evaluation, for example, comparison between pre- and post-inspection statuses, evaluation of time-dependent changes, and comparison between targets manufactured with different conditions. Batch processing of multiple images - auto arrange function Possible to analyze multiple images in a batch after these images are displayed as arranged. The height and width setting conditions can be unified, including the reference plane height, graph axis height and width settings, and the 3D orientation. It is also possible to configure various image processing or analysis settings in a batch, including profile line drawing positions and fixed measurement positions. Quick identification of sample roughness class index - roughness parameter suggestion Indicates the surface condition differences among the samples, using a minimum of 42 types of roughness parameters. Template function that facilitates analysis work All operations on images can be recorded in a template. Using this template, it is possible to automatically perform the exact same operations on a different image. Conversion to a 3D-CAD data file It is possible to output height data in the STL (Standard Triangle Language), STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data), or ASC (non-delimited American Standard Code for Information Interchange) formats (point group information). This output data serves as 3D-CAD design data that can be compared with the actual 3D data. 4 2.3 CUSTOMER SUPPORT The vendor should be willing to help The University of Southern Mississippi resolve any technical issues associated with the system, not only in the warranty period but also out of the warranty period with a reasonable service fee and leading time.
