emergency cleanup services following a debris- generating event, such as a tropical system or other natural and man-made disasters on the FSU John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art campus, located at 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, FL 34243. The University is seeking to secure the services of an experienced respondent (s) who is capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster‐generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost‐effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations. The successful respondent(s) must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. It is the expectation that the awarded Respondent(s) representative(s) must be physically present at the designated Ringling Emergency Operations Center within eight (8) hours after notification of need. Start of services will be within twenty-four (24) hours of issuance of Purchase Order. Selected respondents will be expected to complete services in less than 120 days when possible. FSU will give preference to companies who can meet the accelerated debris removal timeframes outlined by FEMA in the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act located at https://www.congress.gov/113/plaws/publ2/PLAW-113publ2.pdf.
