2023 Pedestrian Tunnel Maintenance

INVITATION FOR BIDS Project Name: 2023 Pedestrian Tunnel Maintenance Project No. 22-012-CIP The City of Dublin Ohio will receive electronic bids for the materials and labor necessary for the construction of the 2023 Pedestrian Tunnel Maintenance Project. Bids shall be received by the City of Dublin via the Bid Express ® service at www.bidexpress.com until 11:00 A.M. local time on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Bid documents will not be available until 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 22, 2024. The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bid—and bidders shall hold bids open—until sixty days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: Extending an existing 108-inch RCP diameter pedestrian tunnel under Memorial Drive on both ends with a 6 ft. section of 108-inch RCP pipe; cast-in-place two retaining walls – 40 ft. and 45 ft. in length; manufactured stone facing; asphalt pavement; and

guardrail. The cost estimate for the Project is $550,000. Documents are available online at www.bidexpress.com at no charge. As a bidder, you must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation you intend to bid electronically on before bidding. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed by October 11, 2024. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.
