Rental of a Temporary Roof System on the Outdoor Main Stage During the 2022 Plaza Summer Season

A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza is a unique architectural masterpiece which houses 11,000 New York State employees in a complex of ten buildings. The Plaza offers a world-class modern art collection, New York State's Museum, Library and Archives, a distinctive performing arts center, convention center and more. The outdoor Plaza is also home of the “Summer at the Plaza (ATP)” series of concerts and festivals. This series draws approximately 100,000 patrons between June and September. The series retains high profile performers each year and as such, must continue to maintain its technical operation for these events. The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is soliciting quotes on behalf of the OGS Office of Convention and Cultural Events. OGS intends to contract with a firm to rent a temporary (erected at main stage in June, removed in September) aluminum truss roof system for the outdoor main stage located at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, New York. 1.2 Designated

Bidders will be allowed to take measurements of the outdoor main stage area at this time. This is the only date and time available for i
