Synopsis Intent to Sole Source Hottinger Baldwin Measurement, Inc. (HBM)

AFTC/PZI at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB, TN (100 Kindel Drive, Suite A-332, Arnold AFB, TN 37389-1332) intends to procure a quantity of two (2) Hottinger Baldwin Measurement, Inc. (HBM) Gen17TA, and a quantity of one (1) HBM Gen7i high speed data acquisition mainframes to be delivered to Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Tunnel 9 in White Oak, MD no later than six (6) WARO (weeks after receipt of order).  
This item will be procured via a firm-fixed price contract using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  The aforementioned products are the only equipment that meets the government’s needs for this procurement.  Market research has determined that Hottinger Baldwin Measurement, Inc. (HBM) is the only vendor who is able to supply this requirement.  Thus, this procurement will be sole sourced to:
