P-3C Taiwan Test and Evaluate Launcher Guided Missiles

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires Test and Technical Evaluation of full functionality for two (2) each Launcher Guided Missiles, P/N 2223685-100 to meet the existing functional requirements in support of the Taiwan Air Force (TAF) P-3C platform. The Government intends to issue a contract on a sole source basis for the required equipment to Raytheon/Intelligence Information and Services (CAGE: 072E5) of Indianapolis, IN. Raytheon/Intelligence Information and Services is considered the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment/testing because they own all the proprietary data and drawings. Therefore, Raytheon/Intelligence Information and Services is the only vendor capable of Testing and Technically Evaluating the equipment to meet the Government requirement.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
