The US Forest Service is seeking to contract a qualified licensed (Master Operator) wastewater treatment system operator to provide the startup, operation, monitoring, testing and shutdown of the Bolar Mountain Wastewater Treatment System in accordance with the requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality VPDES Permit Number VA0032123. There is a Base Period from Date of Award to October 31, 2023 and Two Option Periods, if exercised as follows: Option Year One (11/01/2023 to 10/31/2024) and Option Year Two (11/01/2024 to 10/31/2025).Contractor must complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and provide all labor, supplies, services, incidentals, supervision, safety, transportation, sampling, testing, records, and licenses, necessary to perform the safe and proper operation and maintenance of the wastewater system in accordance with all ordinances, codes, standards, and regulations of the local, state, and federal authorities having jurisdiction throughout the Period of Performance.Materials and equipment responsibility outlined under section 3.0 Government Furnished Property and Services.Pre-bid/Pre-proposal Conference: The Government is planning a pre-bid/pre-proposal conference.
