REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) Apparel Printing Services Project Description The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from a qualified apparel and screen-printing company to establish a contract through competitive negotiations to the Garden City Parks and Recreation (GCPR) department in Garden City, Kansas. The apparel and screen-printing company (Offeror) will provide at a minimum the basic apparel, screen printing, and embroidery services outlined in the scope of services. Introduction/Background Garden City, Kansas with a population of approximately 32,000 in Finney County, approximately 200 miles west of Wichita, Kansas and 300 miles southeast of Denver, Colorado. In January of 2021, the Garden City Recreation Commission merged into the City of Garden City, becoming the Garden City Parks and Recreation Department (GCPR). GCPR is issuing this RFP to solicit an organization who will provide apparel printing services. Currently GCPR makes several orders per

year for the various programs and will continue to order on an as needed basis. Please refer to Appendix A for a listing of the expected orders for all of our programs and events as well as their estimated quantities. GCPR reserves the right to terminate this process or to cancel or modify this solicitation process at any time. In no event will the GCPR or any of its respective agents, representatives, consultants, directors, officers, or employees be liable for, or otherwise obligated to reimburse the costs incurred in preparation of this RFP or any other related costs. The prospective firms shall be fully responsible for all costs incurred in the preparation and/or presentation of the RFP submittals. The RFP submittals will become the property of the GCPR. Time Period The RFP submittals will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022.
