Requirement for X-Ray Backscatter Device

The FBI intends to make a single sole source award to Viken Detection to purchase a Nighthawk-HBI XP handheld backscatter device.The FBI requires a handheld backscatter imaging device with the ability to detect lead.  The device must provide the capability to inspect behind enclosed physical areas to discover hidden security devices.  If a vendor believes they offer a product with equal capabilities of the Nighthawk-HBI XP, a capability statement and specification sheet on their product may be emailed to Contracting Officer Jenny Knight at jmknight@fbi.gov no later that 3pm EST on Friday, May 14, 2021.  This information will be utilized solely to determine if a competitive solicitation should be
