Consultant services will be performing engineering design services for a transportation alternatives project (TAP) providing community enhancement and connectivity via the construction of sidewalks in the Beacon Heights Area. The project is a 1.3-mile connectivity project that will provide sidewalks from Commerce Street along the North side to Eatonton Road and from Commerce Street to Ward Road along the Southeast side of Bell Circle. The proposed project will also provide sidewalks from Eatonton Road to Carmichael Road along the exterior rim of Prior Circle and from Eatonton Road to White Street, along the North side of Carmichael Road. From our understanding, the Madison Municipal Airport is less than 5 miles from the project and there is also a railroad within 500 feet of the project area.Information about the project and a complete Request For Qualifications (RFQ) package can be downloaded here or a hardcopy may be obtained in person at City of Madison, Planning & Development, 162 N Main St., Madison, GA, 30650. One copy of the proposal should be submitted in .pdf format to the One Drive link noted in the RFQ.
