NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.The Army Contracting Command-Redstone, on behalf of the Project Manager, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PM ASE), intends to solicit a ten (10) year effort for Limited Interim Missile Warning System (LIMWS) Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) consisting of spare hardware, engineering, technical, and logistics support services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334419.The LIMWS is a U.S. Army Quick Reaction Capability program. This effort will acquire services and hardware spares (system processors, sensors, removable data modules, and payload modules) to support the Lifecycle Sustainment of the LIMWS QRC B-Kit.
These Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS recurring/non-recurring services are anticipated to include, but are not limited to the following:a. Program managementb. Engineering studies and analysesc. Sustainment and upgrades to the system algorithms and the Digital System Model (DSM)d. System software development, sustainment, and upgradese. System reset and repair of the LIMWS QRC systems to include Test Equipment and SupportEquipment (TE/SE)f. Operating, maintaining and facilitating repairs of LIMWS B-Kit hardware, and includes anyproprietary softwareg. Providing repair facilitiesh. Replacing/repairing shop replaceable units (SRUs)i. Providing field supportj. Supporting a LIMWS logistics support evaluationk. System integration and installation across multiple platformsl. Testing and other support servicesThe Government released a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) on 13 May 2020 for this effort. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of the DRAFT RFP and no proposals will be accepted at this time. Comments or questions will be accepted and responded to. It is anticipated this this effort will be awarded to a single contractor.Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source:BAE Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc.
