20-32, Demolition Services for Property Located at the Corner of Fairview Road and Panola Road

Invitation to Bid Sealed Bid #20-32 Demolition Services for Property Located at the Corner of Fairview Road and Panola Road The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for demolition services for property located at 16 Fairview Road (Parcel ID #025-04004006) located at the corner of Fairview Road and Panola Road, and 1935 Panola Road (Parcel ID #025-04004002) located on Panola Road directly behind the Fairview Road parcel, in Ellenwood, GA 30294. There is an access gate located off of Panola Road near the HCWA water tower. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid. A site visit is required to obtain a clear understanding of the structure and site conditions. The structures vary in size, composition and condition. An aerial map will be provided generally showing what is to be removed, however, it is the contractor’s responsibility to walk the site to get a clear understanding of the scope of work. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit on January 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the property located at the corner of 16 Fairview Road and 1935 Panola Road, Ellenwood, GA. Bids will be received by Henry County Board of Commissioners, Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway, Room 209, McDonough, GA 30253 until 3:00 PM local time on January 29, 2020. Late bids will not be considered nor returned. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
