BERGAMOT STATION ARTS CENTER - COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

The City of Santa Monica, (City) is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms (Consultant) to provide property management services for the Bergamot Station Arts Center (Bergamot) for a term of three (3) years, with options for two (2) one-year renewals.Bergamot, located at 2525 Michigan Avenue, is a City-owned, creative arts complex home to approximately thirty galleries and creative uses in approximately 67,000 square feet.BackgroundBergamot is a leading arts and cultural hub of visual and performing arts organizations, driven to further equity and access to the arts through free exhibitions, inclusion performances, and community driven public programs. For nearly three decades, the Bergamot Station Arts Center has been a pillar of Santa Monica arts community offering free-to-the-public arts and culture experiences. Bergamot offers visitors the opportunity to view and interact with a series of unique arts environments, including fine art galleries, monumental scale

installations, live performances, video art, music, educational programs, poetry, comedy, and theater performances. The arts collective also offers arts and curatorial residencies and countless vibrant community events and cultural activations throughout the year.Bergamot continues its work to provide diverse educational opportunities for the Santa Monica community and advance the City’s cultural mission. Bergamot is a creative arts collective committed to the facilitating educational, nonprofit, and charitable events for the Santa Monica community.Galleries general operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
