Description: The City of Attleboro Invitation to Bid Window Wall Replacement Project to the Willet Elementary School, 32 WATSON AVENUE, ATTELBORO, MA. The City of Attleboro will receive bids for Window Wall Replacement Project to the Willet Elementary School at the Offices of Budget and Administration, Government Center, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Sealed General Bids will be received until 11:00 on April 5, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bidders shall be DCAMM Certified in Doors and Windows.The project scope consists of window wall replacement and repairs. The intent is to provide a sound wall system that is leak free and weathertight. At project completion, Contractor shall provide a written guarantee that covers all defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from date of acceptance. General Bidders are to be DCAMM certified in Doors and Windows (Prime). The Window Contractor shall be the General Contractor. The general

scope of the construction work is as follows: Removal and replacement of the existing windows and doors within a section of window wall in two locations. This shall include repairs to the existing framing and trim, and cladding of all exterior trim, as indicated on the drawings and in this specification.A pre-bid conference will be held at 4:00 PM (meet at front entrance), local legal time, on March 26, 2024 , at the Willett Elementary School, 32 Watson Street, Attleboro, MA. Following the pre-bid conference there will be a tour of the site with the Architect and the City of Attleboro representatives. All bidders are invited to attend.
