Sealed Bids, addressed to the Sr. Procurement Specialist of the City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida, will be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tenders TM until 3:30 PM local time, Thursday, September 29, 2022for: 23-05B PARKS WI-FI EXPANSION (PHASE 1) The City of Tamarac is seeking proposers to provide, install and configure a turnkey Cisco Meraki WiFi solution at the following locations: 1. Tamarac Sports Complex 9901 NW 77th St, Tamarac, FL 33321 2. Tephford Park 10003 Southgate Blvd, Tamarac, FL 33321 3. Mainlands Park 4509 Monterey Dr, Tamarac, FL 33319 Work also includes installation of CommScope Powered Fiber Cable Systems and Strong Pole, 12’ SteadyMax Florida Poles at locations, as specified and indicated in the Scope of Work Details. Alternate pole make / models may be considered by the City for this project, provided they meet or exceed Florida Building Code 2017 Specifications for a 190 MPH Wind Speed. Alternate pole

makes / models must be submitted to the City in advance for review and approval. The City reserves the right to approve / disapprove alternate pole make / models. Respondents must be an authorized / certified Cisco Systems Gold Level Partner (or above), as well as an authorized / certified CommScope Partner capable of installing Commscope Powered Fiber Cable Systems. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 @ 11:00 AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams as shown on the solicitation document. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting.
