The Project or Work consists of construction of approximately 6,300 linear feet of 48-inch HDPE transmission force main, 3,700 linear feet of 12-inch and 30-inch SWIFT water main, 3,700 linear feet of 16-inch Back Flush main, 3,400 linear feet of communications conduit, trenchless crossing of I-664, removal and disposal of contaminated soil and groundwater, clearing and grubbing within HRSD easements and site work including paving. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the date, time, and location as referenced in the Advertisement for Bids. Bidder/Supplier must be aware of the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF), Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA), and various Contract inserts and statements have been added to the standard front ends including the Advertisements for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Questionnaire, and Bidder Compliance Statement.
