SummaryBen Franklin Transit (BFT) is seeking bids from qualified vendors for an as needed On-Call Design, Print, and/or Installation of various map-based signage services. Work performed under this Contract will be done at Washington State Prevailing wage rate, Intents, Affidavits and Certified Payrolls will be filed with Dept. of Labor and Industries. Vendors are invited to submit bids for any combination of work samples included in the Scope of Work. The term of the Contract(s) will be for one (1) year. At Ben Franklin Transit’s discretion, Contract(s) may be extended up to one (1) additional term.2. BackgroundBFT is responsible for providing bus, paratransit, vanpool, and first-and-last mile commute options to Benton and Franklin County residents and visitors. This customer base, commonly referred to as Tri-Cities, is one of the fastest growing areas in Washington State. According to the Benton Franklin Council of Governments, regional population will reach 369,700 by the year 2040, a 50% increase in population over the 2017 base year. As population grows, so will the demand and need for transit. In fact, BFT recently expanded services to include a new series of Frequent Corridor Routes (METRO Routes) and Sunday Service. Other future service initiatives include regional EXPRESS service (coming 2022) and new transit hubs (coming 2022-2029).Projects will be located throughout the BFT service area in Benton and Franklin Counties.3.
