Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Language Pathologist

requests proposals from experienced and qualified contractors to provide Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT) and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) contract services for students countywide in the kindergarten to Extended Transition with active Exceptional Student Education (ESE) status and to secure firm, net pricing for the contract period as specified herein. AWARD This contract will be awarded on an ALL OR NONE basis to the three responsive and responsible bidders who are ranked best after all proposals are evaluated. Contracts will be awarded to a PRIMARY and two SECONDARY contractors. The highest ranked responsive and responsible bidder will be the PRIMARY contractor and ALL requirements for services will first be directed to them. The second and third highest ranked responsive and responsible bidders will be the SECONDARY contractors. In the event the PRIMARY contractor cannot respond to a requirement within a reasonable time period, the district reserves the right to direct the work to the SECONDARY contractors. CONTRACT PERIOD The Contract Period shall commence on August 23, 2022, and end August 22, 2024. RENEWAL OPTION By mutual consent of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida, and the successful Bidders, this contract may be renewed for one (1) additional two (2)-year period. SUPPLEMENTAL UNILATERAL RENEWAL PERIODS The District, through its Director of Purchasing, has the option and reserves the right to unilaterally extend the original contract term or any renewal term for up to three (3) additional thirty (30) day periods, at the same terms and conditions. Notice of the District’s intent to renew shall be provided by the District in writing to the Contractor Supplier prior to the expiration of the contract, or the renewal period if the contract has been previously renewed.
