PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTORCity of Two Rivers, WIThe City of Two Rivers is recruiting for its next Parks & Recreation Director to join its management team. Current Director is leaving for a new professional opportunity.The Parks & Recreation Director performs complex supervisory, administrative, and professional work in planning, organizing, and supervising the Parks and Recreation Department, whose divisions include the J.E. Hamilton Community House, Senior Center, Cemeteries, Parks, Forestry, Recreation, Special Events, Recreation Fields, Beach, Trails, and Recreation Activities.Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a four-year degree in parks and recreation, public administration, hospitality management, or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will also have five years’ experience in parks and recreation management, hospitality, or a related field and supervisory experience of both paid staff and volunteers. Certified Parks & Recreation
Professional (CPRP) designation is desired. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.The City of Two Rivers offers an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 6.5% matching contribution to the Wisconsin Retirement System, free family fitness membership, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal holidays. The City also offers a health insurance opt-out incentive up to $5,000 annually.
