 SERVICES FOR PHOENIX SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMAN/TSC-156D The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is conducting this market survey notice to determine possible service providers for the AN/TSC-156D Phoenix satellite communications system.The AN/TSC-156D Phoenix is a transportable Tactical Satellite Communications Terminal (TACSAT) which operates, in Super High Frequency (SHF) Bands (C, X, Ku, and Ka), over commercial and military satellites. The mission of the AN/TSC-156D is to provide flexible, mobile, high capacity, extended range communications transport. The AN/TSC-156D supports various network topologies transporting voice, data, and video group traffic and is backward compatible with legacy Ground Mobile Forces (GMF) Satellite Terminals. This Request for Information (RFI) is for the following servicesPhoenix training: Potential bidders should be able to provide training about troubleshooting, maintaining, resetting, overhaul, and on the job training
AN/TSC-156D Phoenix terminal.Phoenix Technical Support: When required, the Contractor shall provide engineering support for future Engineering Changes as they arise during the Period of Performance. These services may include the management and planning of implementation of Engineering changes to meet new requirements for Phoenix; hardware, software and system engineering activities; planning of the procurement of hardware; test plans and procedures, reports and system documentation to plan, develop, implement, and support system integration efforts for the Phoenix terminal program; and research/resolve obsolescence issues with limited or no technical data available from the Government.Update *TM 11-5895-1888-13&P Technical Manual (Phoenix TM): update the current TM to include new parts insertion, tech-refresh and redesigned part.Redesign Phoenix Remote Control Interface (RCI) NSN 5895-01-649-7336: The current RCI is obsolete and redesigning this Phoenix obsolete hardware is one of the services that the Army is looking for at this RFI.    This Market Survey is for information ONLY, and will be used for preliminary planning purposes. NO proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals and NO contract shall be awarded from this survey. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.
