Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 to Eaton Corporation to provide Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Power Module Maintenance and Service for three (3) identified (UPS) Power Modules. The three identified UPS Power Modules are model 9390-100-120, serial number ED 105CBB01; model 9390-100-120, serial number ED105CBB02 and model 9315-100-160, serial number EV385ZBA01 for the Center Information Warfare Training (CIWT) Corry Station, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida . The only supplier identified by the Navy who is capable of fulfilling the requirement is Eaton Corporation. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this supply falls under is 811310 with a size standard of 8.0 (million dollars) and the PSC Code is J059. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the company’s ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within five (5) days after the publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
